I’m currently working on a set of improvments on wiki macros, which will be merged as part of the roadmap for 17.3.0RC1, and I’d like to also backport them in LTS (16.10.x branch).
To be a bit more specific, I’m working right now on having more consistency on the properties we can set on a macro, JIRA issues are:

Note that for that I would also need to backport Loading... so the following commit: Merge pull request #1262 from Sereza7/XCOMMONS-2738 · xwiki/xwiki-commons@f3fe405 · GitHub
My point of view is that it improves usability of wiki macros and it will allow to also backport in the future further improvments in existing macros. Also I estimate that the changes are not really dangerous for LTS.
So do you agree to backport those changes for the consistency of wiki macros?
