Starting the file system backend from scratch can feel empty and uninviting.
This is what you see currently
Instead, I suggest to automatically create a minimal content, that would be created hen the ~/.cristal directory does not exist.
In the spirit of what Obsidian proposes
I propose to add the following text for new instances:
# Welcome
This is a new **Cristal** wiki.
You can use it to make your *own* notes.
You can also create new [[pages|index/newpage]].
